Terms of use
Free to use, as it is.
Whetstone is a free, unofficial fan site for Heroes of the Storm, MTG Arena and Pokémon Champions. By using it you accept these terms.
Last updated .
What the site is
Whetstone is made by fans and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment, Wizards of the Coast, The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures Inc. or GAME FREAK inc.. Game names, artwork and other game content belong to their owners and are used under their fan content policies, as set out in the footer of every page and on the Credits page.
Data and advice as is
Numbers, tier lists, suggestions and explanations are estimates built from public data and our own analysis. They can be late, incomplete or wrong, and the site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. How the numbers are made is explained on each game's methodology page.
Other people's content
Data, images and links from other sources stay under their owners' terms and licences, credited where they are shown and listed on the Credits page. Licences of the software the site ships are in licenses.txt, and Whetstone's own code is open source in its repository.
YouTube
Heroes of the Storm pages list guide videos found with the YouTube API Services. By using those YouTube features (playing a video here or following a link to YouTube) you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google handles any data under the Google Privacy Policy; what Whetstone itself fetches and keeps is described on the Privacy page.
Changes and questions
These terms can change with the site; the date above shows the last change. Questions go to a GitHub issue.
